The Colts

There has been a lot of chatter about the Indianapolis Colts bid to run the table and then win the Super Bowl. This all may be moot as the Colts are losing to the Chargers right now.

The question is whether the Colts should sit their starters to rest for the playoff without regard to going undefeated or should they keep the pedal to the metal and risk injuries to key personnel?

The discussions that I have seen have a very all or nothing tone to them. Resting players too much has failed time and again in different sports. The idea I have not heard is pedal to the metal for three quarters of the game. It keeps everyone in game condition with 25% less chance of getting hurt.

On a bigger scale resolving an issue in the middle of two extremes is often a good way to go.

SEAHAWKS BABY!
