Tour 2007
The 2007 Tour de France got under way in the old French city of...London...huh?For the third time in Tour history the Tour goes through the UK and for the first time London which is where they had the prologue (I was going to say the opening prologue but that might be from the department of redundancy department).
The regular tour is underway on Sunday to Canterbury.
Watching the Tour is a real treat even in the post-Lance era or if you prefer the dopers-are-finally-getting-caught era.
Regardless of the alleged cheating the effort is real and the scenery is fantastic. My attitude toward whether or not there is cheating may seem cavalier but quite frankly the idea of worrying about things beyond my control (what could be more out of my hands than this?) seems like wasted negative energy.
Why not just watch and enjoy?
